Rogers and Hammerstein's classic adaptation has been reincarnated for the 21st Century, with a new book by Douglas Carter Beane that updates the fairytale with new sub-plots, while keeping the heart of this wonderful story of Cinderella, her glass slipper and the Prince who falls for her. This fresh and sweet revival is an opulent affair, with high-spirited choreography, and stunning costumes, against the soundtrack of R&H's best songs.

What is the story?

Poor Ella leads a miserable life of servitude under her wicked stepmother and unsympathetic stepsisters. Every day she dreams of escaping her chores and finding love. Her prayers are answered in the form of her Fairy Godmother, who turns up just in time to magically make her over in time for the Prince's ball. There's only one condition - she must be home before midnight. When she leaves behind her glass slipper, she is sought by the besotted Prince, who will stop at nothing to find the mysterious Cinderella...
