AWFUL SHOW

Do not waste your time or money… half the audience left half way through. I wish I would have. Wait for the original to come back.

JUST PLAIN AWFUL

The only redeeming feature of this performance was the music played by the band. That said, the rest- plot interpretation, casting, acting, dancing, set design and overall chemistry of the show was terrible. You could sense it was going to be bad in the first scene and 25 minutes in I started looking at my watch. It’s terribly boring. The acting was middle school level. The set was boring as ever. The casting was a big miss and the storyline was dark with weird scenes using live video footage that only detracted from the plot. Not one actor connected with another. It was like a series of monologues. If you already bought tickets, save your time and don’t bother going. Many left at intermission. We stayed only because we sat with others we knew and enjoyed the conversation after the show.

NOT YOUR NORMAL BROADWAY

Highly disappointed in the show. While there was significant talent, it was not showcased properly in this production. This was also not the normal Oklahoma production. Absolutely not suited for children. A lot of uncomfortable scenes to sit through. Would not recommend the show. Hopeful to see the talent presented in the show in another production in the future where it can be showcased properly and appreciated.

QUENTIN TARANTINO VERSION OF OKLAHOMA

The only thing I like about this production is the diversity. I am happy they hire trans actors. Besides that I hated this. The cast and dancers are talented but it was so overwhelmingly dark and the scene where Laurie was covered in blood was a little much. It is the only show in the 300-plus I probably saw at the Benedum I did not like

FORCED TO STAY

I have no idea what i am witnessing. My husband is making me stay because how much worse can it get? Brutal.

JUST TERRIBLE

We left at Intermission. Very disappointing. Nothing made sense, actors seemed bored.

THE WORST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

I am a season ticket holder and have attended more shows than I can count in Pittsburgh, Canada and New York city. I can't believe I stayed for this whole performance. It was like a train wreck that you couldn't look away. The only reason I didn't was because my party was not sitting together. The dream scene was painful to watch and completely without reason. Many people left at intermission and before the final curtain. The Benedum Center should be embarrassed to have taken ticket money for this show that looks like it was produced by a 10 year old with a disturbing family life.
