AMAZING SHOW IN CHICAGO 11/2/19

No disrespect to the other reviewers, but I have to wonder if we were at the same concert. While the show did start a bit "routine" the band quickly picked up on the audience's energy and put on an amazing concert - soulful, joyful, and energetic. Loved when the band came down into the crowd, who spontaneously sat in a circle around them. Truly a magical evening. Loved it!

JUDAH AND THE LION/ FLORA CASH

Went to see Flora Cash. The bass was a bit too much, but I loved watching their show. Too bad rude people talked through their performance. I hadn’t seen Judah and the Lion before. Loved the lasers, lights and smoke effects. It was a good show.

SO SAD

I saw these guys 2 years ago. They were four connected young men fulfilling a joined dream. Last night I saw strangers playing on stage. Their music has been turned into a shadow of its former self designed solely to sell out. So sad. The banjo and mandolin player looked bored. The singer who, 2 years ago was a grateful soulful human on stage has turned into music industry puppet. The little stardom he has has changed him into someone I just can’t listen to anymore. Had to leave.

SO DISAPPOINTED

I feel much like Jim from Toronto. We saw Judah and The Lion when they opened for Kaleo (who I love and have seen again since then and sincerely hope they don’t drastically change “their style”) and at the time we really enjoyed J & the L even though we didn’t know them at all. Have listened to their music online since then and really love the song Only To Be With You but I doubt they played it last night. We left before the end too because it was just not at all what we could ever have imagined them to be. I saw that many others in the sparse audience with the same looks on their faces. Utter shock and disappointment! Tragic loss... :(
