Singer songwriter Don McLean has more than his fair share of great songs to his name, but one stands head and shoulder above the others. Released in 1971, 'American Pie' remains one of the great tracks in popular music history.

Perhaps best known as the heart and soul of reverb-friendly indie rockers My Morning Jacket, frontman Jim James has cultivated a solo career just as prolific as his Kentucky-hailing outfit. One of the most influential figures of the indie scene of the late 2000s, the Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter has collaborated with the likes of Bright Eyes, America and The Decemberists. Don't miss him as he heads out on tour in support of his Summer 2018 release of his third solo album Uniform Distortion.

It's been over 20 years since Apocalyptica first put forth their unholy alliance of metal and classical music in the form of debut album Plays Metallica by Four Cellos. The Finnish cello metal band formed with the intention of playing Metallica and other heavy metal band covers, but each subsequent release featured more and more original music until fourth album Reflections announced their fully-fledged status as original artists.
