E.T. Phone Home
In 1984 Steven Spielberg and John Williams introduced the world to one of the most memorable and loveable movie characters of all time in the form of E.T. a gentle alien, whilst at the same time breaking box office records when the film surrounding him became the highest-grossing film of all time until Spielberg broke the records again with Jurassic Park 11 years later. Experience the sci-fi adventure once more when the Oklahoma City Symphony perform Williams' timeless score alongside a special H.D. screening this winter!
When the E.T. is forgotten by an exploratory group of his space dwelling companions, the defenceless and harmless alien is stranded in the harsh and unknown earth environment. Terrified of everything that moves, the strange-looking specimen is found by Elliott, a streetwise 10 year old that decides to take him in. When the men in fedoras and trench coats come calling, Elliott and his friends must find a way to reunite E.T. with his family, even if it means losing the new bond of friendship between them.
