The winner of five Tony Awards, Fun Home is the emotionally charged musical that took Broadway by storm, and now arrives at the Lyric Theatre in a new production. Based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel (the originator of the Bechdel test), this show explores a woman's complicated relationship with her closeted father. Flashing backwards and backwards through time, Fun Home weaves together fragments of memories together into a stunning portrait of strained family dynamics and personal triumph.

Written by Lisa Kron with a Seventies-influence score from Jeanine Tesori, Fun Home debuted on Broadway in 2015, and won five Tonys, including Best Musical and Best Original Score.
